LOCAL hotel staff took a minute to mark their success after being named the number one performing establishment across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.

The hard working team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chester took time out together to celebrate their global brand achievement in the DoubleTree by Hilton Awards of Excellence Program. Celebrations were also in order as the hotel was placed in the top 10 list for large DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the world.

Employees across the hotel, the Club and Spa at Hoole Hall and the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill gathered within the DoubleTree’s Grade II English Heritage listed conservatory to enjoy canapés and refreshments.

The team was also surprised with an impromptu Zumba party dance class to set the tone of the gathering and get their hearts racing.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Chester’s general manager Tony Wright, says: “It’s a real privilege to be recognised as the top performing EMEA Doubletree hotel. To also be in the top 10 for large hotels, out of a possible 259 establishments worldwide is a fantastic triumph. Well done to all our staf.f.

“We have an excellent team here at the DoubleTree by Hilton Chester who all work extremely hard to provide our guests with the best possible service. I’m thrilled that our dedication to hospitality has been acknowledged.”
