Ever been stuck on a bus waging battle against hunger pangs and imagined how great it would be if a piping hot pizza was waiting for you at the next stop?

Well peckish passengers in Chester could soon have their favourite Domino's delivered to them at their chosen stop if a pilot scheme in Blackpool proves a hit.

The takeaway titan’s trial comes after DJ Artwork welcomed the successful delivery of a pizza as he travelled from Sheffield to Glasgow.

Domino's explained they like a challenge and decided to go one step further by helping out hungry bus users.

'Open to suggestions'

Helen Tosney-Collins, communications manager at Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “The pizza on a bus delivery service is currently being trialled in the Blackpool area and we hope to be able to roll it out to other destinations in the future.

“Our customers regularly ask us to deliver their hot, fresh pizza to weird and wonderful places, so we’re open to suggestions!”
