A FOUR-year-old member of Deeside Ice Skating Club has made it to the shortlist of ITV hit show Dancing on Ice: Ice Stars.

Molly Robotham, of Ellesmere Port, started ice skating less than a year ago, when she was just three and is already wowing judges with her talent.

Viewers saw her on the search for an ice star section of the popular show on Sunday evening.

The winner of Ice Stars will get the chance to perform in the Dancing on Ice final and will join Torvill and Dean for a leg of their forthcoming tour, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of their Olympic gold medal performance in Sarajevo in 1984.

Molly had already made it through one round of auditions in Blackburn to get through to the London auditions, judged by Torvill and Dean.

When the ice legends asked how long she had been skating, she replied: “Six years”.

Despite a small tumble during her routine, Molly was one of 20 acts to make it on to the shortlist.

She skates at Deeside four times a week.

Dad Jamie Robotham said: “Her coaches are really impressed with her.

“They think she could be a future Olympic medallist.”
