TIME is running out for voluntary arts groups from across Cheshire West and Chester to book on to a networking event taking place on Sunday September 26.

The meeting will be held between 1pm and 4.50pm at Frodsham Community Centre.

Voluntary groups will be able to get an update on the first year of the Cheshire West and Chester Voluntary Arts Network, study the Council’s cultural aspirations, share their organisations publicity materials and meet informally.

The Open Forum is jointly hosted by the CWaC Voluntary Arts Network and CWaC Council’s Arts Team who have been working together to create the afternoon event.

Councillor Bob Barton, a member of the Voluntary Art Network said: “The meeting gives voluntary arts groups the opportunity to obtain advice, come together as a group and learn more about the organisation.

“There will also be a series of short sessions, based on topics that were suggested at the last Open Forum event which include safeguarding, using the network as a marketing tool, fundraising and Health and Safety for events and volunteers.

“Places for the event will be reserved on a first come first served basis so please get in touch straight away.”
