A man had to be treated by paramedics at the scene of a road traffic collision on the A49 at Oakmere.
The crash, which involved two articulated lorries and a saloon car closed Tarporley Road after it happened at about 3.20pm on Thursday (February 6).
Firefighters retrieved one casualty from one of the vehicles and he was passed on to the care of paramedics.
It is understood the accident is still ongoing and there will be more to follow.
