The newlyweds, who met on ITV's Dancing on Ice when they were partnered together three years ago, tied the knot in front of 500 of their nearest and dearest at Delamere Manor earlier this month.
But the luxury estate wasn't the first choice for the location of their nuptials, with the original plan for them to wed in Sylvain's native France.
Samia, 34, told OK! Magazine: "Up until January we were planning to get married in France. Then we decided on Delamere Manor in February."
Sylvain explained: "The people at the venue in France were being a bit cheeky so we couldn't come to an agreement. Then [the wedding planner] Julie Perry knew about this place and we loved it straight away."
When Frodsham born and raised Take That superstar Gary sold the stunning house and its sprawling grounds, its new owners re-purposed it into a lakeside wedding venue.
It boasts six master bedrooms, its own nightclub, three huge reception rooms and a Victorian pump house.
On hand to bring even more glamour to the lavish affair were Samia's Coronation Street co-stars, including Catherine Tyldesley, Tina O'Brien and Antony Cotton.
