POLICE in Chester are currently responding to a report of an overturned truck in Lower Kinnerton, Chester.
The incident was reported to police at 2.37pm this afternoon, Thursday, June 23. A concrete mixer truck overturned on Kinnerton Road, blocking the carriageway.
The driver sustained leg injuries and the rescue attempts to extract him from his cab are still ongoing.
Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes particularly in the run-up to rush hour, as Kinnerton Road is closed to traffic to allow emergency services access to the scene and for recovery to take place.
