Comedian Stan Boardman swung in to action to help raise funds for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
He was one of the players in the Captain’s Charity Golf event at Carden Park last week.
The event raised more than £7,000 on the day.
The captains were Paul Richards and lady captain Jan Wadsworth.
The event, which included a raffle and auction, included a Beat the Pro contest in which teams paid £10 to beat the Carden Park golf professional Garry Houston.
