WEST Cheshire College had Christmas all wrapped up with a festive fair for all the family.

Held at the college’s Ellesmere Port campus, visitors were able to browse through a collection of craft stalls selling everything from hand-crafted glass, jewellery and ceramics to handbags, beauty products and much more.

Stallholders included Chester Zoo, which was offering visitors the chance to adopt an animal and buy an annual membership for Christmas, while kitchenware specialist Lakeland gave demonstrations and held a raffle.

Other highlights included local business, the Jolly Brewery, which was serving up its range of organic beers while people could also get tips on how to decorate their homes in style.

A wide selection of hand-crafted decorations, Christmas wreaths and table centrepieces was available from Carol’s Classic Florist and other stallholders.

Wirral Watercress was on hand to show how to make your own Christmas cake and delicious watercress soup while throughout the day Venture Photography offered visitors the chance to capture their family moments with personal and family portraits.

Children could enjoy a host of festive activities, including a reindeer hunt game and a visit to Santa in his grotto.

College principal Sara Mogel said: “The Christmas fair offered a great day out for all the family while giving visitors the opportunity to explore the facilities on offer at the college.”

People could also find out about courses starting in January.

“These are ideal for anyone who wants to get ahead in their career, learn a new skill or take up a new hobby,” she added.
