A WINSFORD music bar is bring a touch of continental class to the town.
And de.bees Music Bar's new outdoor cocktail bar is proving a hit with customers - even if the glorious July sunshine has given way to August showers.
The Market Place nightclub reopened at the end of last month after a two-week closure to carry out major new development work on the structure.
Owner Damon Horrill said weekend takings since the refit were among the best since the venue originally opened.
He said: 'We have added an extension to the beer garden, doubling the size of our lower courtyard. There is a new outdoor cocktail bar and a barbecue area which is proving popular with customers.
'It's had an impact already so it is going to be fantastic when the sun shines again. It is a completely new area, it doesn't feel like you are at de.bees, and doesn't feel like you are in Winsford. The comment we get back from people is that it feels like they are on holiday.
'It means there is a real alternative for people who want to come here but don't want to have a dance of listen to loud music.'
Patio heaters will en-sure it is usable all year round, while the cocktail bar will be 'christened' later this month at, a Latin day and evening and de.bees regular Bank Holiday acoustic music festival, both of which will see musicians performing al fresco.
