A busy 12 months for Chronicle photographer Ian Cooper has been rewarded with many superb images. Ed Milliband visiting South Cheshire resulted in a shot appearing to give the leader of the opposition a halo. While singer Paloma Faith performing at Delamere Forest during the summer also made for some great pictures.
Chester Zoo produced two stunning shots of rhinos and a lion. Chester FC gaining promotion and a stars tribute to Gary Speed added sport to Ian's collection.
Celebrities and royals, even horses drinking beer have not escaped Ian's camera during this successful year.
