A SIXTH former at Christleton High School has a clean record when it comes to attendance.

Joshua Whibberley, 18, was presented with an award for not missing a day of school since he joined seven years ago in Year 7.

Josh, of Vicars Cross, is studying history, German, ICT and computing at A Level and hopes to read computer science at the University of Liverpool in September.

Assistant headteacher Kate Saxon said: “Josh is an exemplary student in every respect. It is quite unusual for a student to have perfect attendance and punctuality records over a seven year period, but it is truly a reflection of Josh's diligent and conscientious nature.

“He is a credit to the school and deserves every success for the future.”
