Teams of driving instructors and their pupils are travelling around Great Britain to raise funds for Children in Need.

The Big Learner Relay will reach Chester from Deeside on Monday, November 9.

This nationwide event, which involves each driving instructor and pupil travelling approx 10 miles, will arrive at Chester Rugby Club at approximately 9.30am.

On top of the leading car will be the Big Learner Relay roof box, which will be passed onto the next instructor at the end of their leg.

The leading car from the Little Chef, Northop, A55 will be Kevin Birchall of Birchall School of Motoring, who will pass the roof box on to Jamie Stewart of Driving Solutions at Chester Rugby Club.

Kevin Birchall will be carrying out all his lessons this week dressed as Pudsey to help raise money for Children in Need, via sponsor a spot.

Last year the event raised more than £65,000 for Children in Need.
