BUDDING chefs turned a Kingsley School into a French bistro dishing up Tarte Tatin, Moules Marinere and Pilaff Riz.

Children at Kingsley Community Primary School and Nursery enjoyed serving up the traditional delicacies in their own Ooh La La themed cafe.

Children enjoyed traditional dancing, singing and speaking in French during the celebration, which was supported by pupils from Helsby High School who helped to arrange the activities.

Headteacher Fiona Rimmer said: “We all enjoyed tasting the different dishes and the children were surprised at how much they enjoyed the moules!”
