TO CELEBRATE the opening of John Lewis at home in Chester later this month, the store is giving children the chance to be part of the launch by entering a competition to have their artwork displayed in-store on opening day.

To enter this competition, open to all children aged 5-10, youngsters need to create a picture of their favourite room in their home – whether it be a colourful living room, a kitchen or a cosy bedroom.

The picture should be created on a blank A4 piece of white paper or card and can be drawn in pen, pencil, crayon, watercolour or whatever else they have to hand.

On the back of the design, please include in black pen the child’s name and age and the contact details of the parent or guardian.

To be eligible designs must be entered by September 20 and sent to John Lewis at home Team, The Red Consultancy, 41-44 Great Windmill Street, London, W1D 7NF.

The winning design will be chosen by an expert panel from John Lewis and will be displayed within the store on the opening day.
