A young boy has been flown to hospital by air ambulance after falling out of a window in Ellesmere Port .

North West Ambulance Service said they were called to an address in Eton Road at 10.03am on Tuesday.

Rapid response vehicles were quickly on the scene.

The child was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital after the air ambulance landed in nearby Wolverham Field.

There has been a reaction to the incident on the Pride in the Port Facebook group with one member saying it was her son who was involved, but this has not been confirmed by the authorities.

Nothing is yet known of the injuries suffered by the youngster as a result of this incident.
