BiG Storage would like to thank readers of The Chronicle for helping to make this year’s Make a real difference gift appeal so successful.

If you received any unwanted gifts for Xmas that are not quite to your taste, then please think about bringing them down to BiG Storage on Sealand Road in Chester where the firm can pass them on to Save the Family or other needy local children’s charities.

It’s not just at Christmas time that these gifts are needed, as any further donations can be used for birthday presents or special prizes for the children supported by the charities.

Children’s charities always have a need to stock up playrooms and waiting areas with toys and all donations to help with this endeavour would be gratefully received.

All the toys and gifts received by BiG Storage and The Chronicle before Christmas went to underprivileged and vulnerable children from Save the Family as well as other young people from in and around Chester who were nominated and brought to The Chronicle’s attention by caring friends, neighbours or teachers.

BiG Storage’s Andrew Donaldson said: “All the staff at BiG Storage would like to thank the readers for their generosity, without which there couldn’t have been a toy appeal.

“Please continue to help us by bringing in any unwanted toys and gifts received at Christmas, which will then find a good home through the charities.’

BiG Storage is located at The Printworks on Sealand Road (next to B&Q). All unwanted toys and gifts will be stored in a clean, dry and secure storage unit before onward distribution to Save the Family and other deserving charities.

Toys can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays or 10am – 4pm on Sundays at the BiG Storage reception which will be clearly sign posted. Ring 01244 399993.
