Elephant admirers pack your trunk as we have found your dream job.

Chester Zoo are looking for someone to join their team as an elephant keeper.

The ideal candidate will have a zoological science degree as well as proven experience of looking after large mammals.

Their Asian elephants are 'intelligent and sociable animals who live together in family groups'.

Whoever gets the job will be lucky enough to help look after these two:

Youngsters Aayu and Indali were born a month apart over New Year and are absolutely adorable.

They were the latest additions to the zoo's Hi-Way family.

The job advert says: "We currently have an exciting opportunity for a keeper to join us on the elephant section.

"For the right candidate, this post offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a breeding family unit of Asian elephants.

"Chester Zoo aims to set a benchmark for animal welfare and the successful candidate must be able to deliver an excellent level of animal husbandry, care and welfare for the assigned mammals, ensuring that all enclosures and facilities are maintained to the highest possible standards."

It is not the only exciting role going at the zoo either. They are also advertising for an assistant team manager for their parrots and penguins.

Who knows, getting a job might even net you an appearance on Channel 4’s Secret Life of the Zoo.
