A PENSIONER has appeared in court twice in two days – and is facing a third visit this month.

Christine Stanley, 61, of Pearl Lane, Vicars Cross pleaded guilty to a charge of drunk and disorderly at Chester Magistrates’ Court on October 29.

The court heard how Stanley, who lives alone, had drunk a bottle of whisky at her home on September 30 and fell.

She called for an ambulance and she was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for her own safety.

Mrs Stanley was abusive to paramedics and hospital staff, using offensive language and lifting up her skirt to expose her underwear.

She was fined £75 plus a £15 victim surcharge and £43 prosecution costs.

Two days later she pleaded guilty to an assault on October 4 and was given a six month conditional discharge.

Stanley is to attend again on November 26 to face another charge of drunk and disorderly.
