An electrical power dip has led to many households in Chester to be without water today (Sunday November 29).

Flickering lights, poor water pressure and in some cases, a lack of water at all, is down to a power outage in the city, which has tripped pumps feeding the area.

Dee Valley Water issued a statement on their website and reassured customers they have dispatched engineers to the site who are working to resolve the electrical interruption.

Update: All supplies restored to Chester

A spokesperson said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused but be assured we are doing everything possible to restore supplies as soon as possible."
