Chester Racecourse is offering half price tickets for Chester Cup Day as part of the incredibly popular May Festival which launches the racing season at the venue.

You could be rubbing shoulders with sporting and soap stars and saving money in the process as Chester Race Company offer County Concourse and Tattersalls stand tickets for half price for a limited period only.

The offer applies only to Wednesday, May 4 which is the first day of the May Festival and also heralds the starts of a full spring and summer programme of horse racing action at the historic Roodee course.

At the moment, you can snap up County Concourse and Tattersalls tickets for £24 and £18 respectively but only until April 3 when the prices shoot back up to £48 and £36.

Other tickets prices, which are not subject to any offers, are £99 for County Stand plus Commonhall, £78 for the new Winning Post enclosure, £14 for Dee Stand and £10 for open course.

The feature races of Wednesday, May 4 will be the Lily Agnes Stakes and the Chester Cup.

The May Festival continues with the Boodles Ladies Day on Thursday, May 5 and Boodles City Day on Friday, May 6.
