Chester Mystery Plays summer fundraising event

Salmon lunch was hosted at Crewe Hill by Farndon

With just under two years to go to the next production of the world renowned Chester Mystery Plays, the Friends held their annual summer salmon lunch fundraiser.

Hosted by Inger and Michael Trevor-Barnston, guests at the event, on Sunday, July 3, were entertained by the Farndon Brass Band.

Chariman Jo Sykes said: “It’s always a lovely event and this year was no exception. The sun shone, and guests were royally entertained by the Farndon Brass Band – they played a wide range of popular music including show tunes and imaginative arrangements of James Bond themes.”

As the weather was kind, Michael Trevor-Barnston took guests on a tour of the beautiful gardens at Crewe Hill by Farndon.
