MOTORISTS are being warned to be cautious while driving through the city centre after traffic light failures on a major roundabout.
This morning (Friday June 30) drivers travelling to work both to and from the city centre have been left confused after the traffic lights failed at the roundabout outside Cheshire West and Chester Council’s HQ and the Abode.
A spokesperson for CWaC said that the traffic light failure had been caused by a power failure and that the authority had been contact at around 7.45am by a concerned motorist.

The power failure also spread to the city's magistrates court which had to switch its case across the road to the crown court this morning.
It is not yet clear when the problem will be resolved, but the council say that Scottish Power has been informed.
