Drivers beware... There’s a new bad parking Facebook page on the block.

P***-Poor Parking Chester is the product of one dad’s frustration at seeing inconsiderate motorists’ parking gaffes outside his little girl’s pre-school.

Jordan Reay got so fed up he decided to snap and shame the offending behaviour on social media, and the account has already racked up more than 650 likes in its short two-week lifespan.

Jordan explained: “I decided at the beginning of this school year that I was going to take pictures of any vehicles I saw parking on the yellow zig-zags near my daughter’s pre-school.

“Towards the end of the last school year it became a daily occurrence that people would be parking on the zig-zags and this really angered me as they are there to provide a safe place for children and parents to cross and not for a convenient place to park or pick up your children.”

Jordan uses his dashcam to capture the images but also features submissions from members of the public.

So far, Jordan says the response has been ‘mostly positive’ and he hasn’t yet had any disgruntled drivers getting in touch.

“I thought for sure it couldn’t only be me who was seeing this terrible parking in Chester, and I wasn’t wrong,” he added.

“The people on my page usually agree that the standard of parking in the pictures is really bad, but of course you get a picture here and there that splits opinion.”

Social media accounts highlighting questionable parking attempts are on the rise, and The Chronicle has previously featured the popular and arguably less politely named Parking Like a T*** in Cheshire Facebook page.
