The Chester Grosvenor, which is part of the Bespoke Hotels collection, is celebrating a record-breaking August with the best revenue and occupancy results since the hotel opened in 1865.

The revenue for August year-on-year growth was 11% and the hotel’s occupancy was 97.4% for the month of August 2016, making it the most successful the hotel has ever achieved in its impressive 150 year history.

The Chester Grosvenor’s general manager Richard Grove said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce these results from the month of August, which certainly highlight that The Chester Grosvenor is going from strength to strength."

He added: “Yet while statistics and figures such as these are important, what continues to matter most to us are our guests; exceeding their expectations, creating precious memories and going above and beyond to ensure that they have an exceptional experience, which has been the hotel’s ethos since it opened its doors 150 years ago.

“These record-breaking results are also a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our passionate team that we continue to invest in and grow through our employee development programmes.”

The black and white timbered façade of The Chester Grosvenor’s grade II listed building belies the modern interior, which boasts 68 bedrooms and 12 suites, two award-winning restaurants, most notably Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor which has retained its Michelin star for 26 consecutive years.
