The temperatures certainly seem to have plummeted over the past few days, but now forecasters are predicting snow.

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for the cold white stuff, which is expected to hit Cheshire West and Chester from 3pm today (November 8) until 10am on Wednesday (November 9).

We could see between 4cm to 8cm of snow fall across the region.

The chief forecaster for the Met Office explained: "A band of rain spreading slowly in will turn to snow as it encounters cold air.

"Whilst this will be mainly on high ground, and heavier bursts could easily bring snow down to low levels."

Travel disruption is on the cards, and motorists are warned to expect difficult driving conditions in some areas.
