GOVERNMENT and politics students from Chester Catholic High School visited the Houses of Parliament last week.

The group of 30 students, led by politics teacher Dr Brendan Duffy, met Chester MP Stephen Mosley and were given a tour of Westminster Palace.

Politics student Connor Jones said: “Mr Mosley came across as a very down-to earth and intelligent man. We asked questions about the recent rise in tuition fees and he gave convincing answers.”

Joseph Greaney added: “We listened in on discussions about the Bloody Sunday enquiry and managed to catch glimpses of Ed Miliband and Vince Cable.”
