TWO artists inspired by landscape are opening their studio to the public this weekend.

Caroline Dangerfield and Jude Lloyd-Johnson met six years ago when Caroline did her teacher training placement at Bishops’ Blue Coat CE High School in Great Boughton, where Jude still works.

Caroline is now a freelance artist and teacher running workshops in local schools as well as teaching art part time at the Hammond school.

Jude’s mixed media photographic work focuses on local landscapes, incorporating stitch in a delicate and unique manner.

Caroline’s work explores the natural world and she uses acrylic on canvas to create her landscapes.

Last winter Caroline visited New Zealand where she was particularly inspired by the ever changing colours and shapes within the landscapes there.

Caroline and Jude are two of only three Chester based artists taking part in this year’s Cheshire Open Studios where artists open their studios to the public.

CAROLINE and Jude’s studio is at 19 South Street, Boughton, Chester CH3 5DR and it will be open on Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9, from 10am-5pm.
