A PLAY is being held at the Forum Studio in Chester to raise money for the Countess of Chester’s Relative Comfort appeal and the Breast Care Unit.

Written by Gail Young from Upton, Cheshire Cats is a comedy based on her experience of taking part in the Moon Walk in London a few years ago.

She said: “We have a brilliant cast and they are all really enthusiastic. They know how much we are trying to raise and they are totally committed to supporting both the Breast Care Unit and the Relative Comfort Appeal.”

The Relative Comfort appeal is raising money to provide adequate facilities for families who are visiting patients in the intensive care unit.

BiG Storage, based at Sealand Road in Chester, have sponsored the cost of producing posters and leaflets for the play.

Manager Brendan Oldfield said: “We are really happy to support such a worthwhile cause within our local community which will clearly be of great benefit to local people.”

The play was a sell out in Chester in 2006 as well as at The Edinburgh Fringe and will be at the Forum Chester from April 11-16.

Tickets can be purchased at www.chestertheatre.co.uk or via the box office on 01244 341296.
