Police are trying to reunite a little girl with her Disney Princess bike found among 63 stolen bikes seized in Chester.

The cute bike was one of dozens recovered by officers from a commercial premises in the city centre two weeks ago.

Now, after successfully reuniting some of the prized-wheels with their delighted owners, Cheshire police have released a list of the 32 remaining bikes in a plea for more people to realise their prized wheels are in safe hands and waiting for them to collect.

A number of them are children's bikes, including this purple and pink cycle, say police.

Is this your little girl's bike?

Officers say they have been inundated with enquiries following an appeal in the Chester Chronicle last week, and have urged people who think they own the bikes not to contact the station unless they have proof of ownership.

Police, based at Chester Town Hall, say they have been flooded with more than 200 emails, constant phone calls and people visiting the station in an attempt to reclaim their missing bikes.

"We've had people contacting us from as far as Derbyshire and Leicester, which is great," said PC Vicki Hazlewood.

If one of the bikes - which are listed below - belongs to you email chester.inner.npu@cheshire.pnn.police.uk or call into Chester Town Hall Police Station.

But PC Hazlewood said officers would need proof of ownership before handing over any of the bikes - you will need to provide the serial number and the colour.

If you don't have the serial number you should ask the shop you bought it from as many keep a record of high value bikes and who they were sold to.
