TO CELEBRATE the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible, the Essar Oil Chester Literature Festival is running a Readathon of the entire authorised version starting this week.

From October 17-30, more than 250 volunteers of all ages are going to read all of it over 80 hours.

The reading sessions will take place in St Anselm’s Chapel, Chester Cathedral on Mondays-Thursdays from 10am-12.30pm and 2-4.30pm, Saturdays from 10am-5.30pm and on Sundays from 10am-5.30pm.

On Fridays they will be held from 10am-12.30pm and 2-4.30pm at Stanley Palace, Watergate Street.
