A LEADING bowel cancer charity is urging ladies to buy their tickets for its Cheshire ladies lunch before it’s too late.

Beating Bowel Cancer is holding a ladies lunch at Rowton Hall Hotel, Chester on Friday, March 8 and so far almost half of the tickets have been snapped up.

Ladies attending the event will be joined by bowel cancer survivor Janet Marshall, who will deliver an inspirational talk about how the disease changed her life following diagnosis in 2010.

Janet, 47, is working alongside Beating Bowel Cancer to help raise awareness of the condition.

Plus ladies will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious two course meal and browse some stalls selling jewellery, clothes, scarves and cosmetics at the event.

Janet said: “It was a shock to be diagnosed with bowel cancer and I’ve now beaten the disease and living life to the full. I want to raise awareness of the symptoms so more people know what to look out for.

“I was thrilled to be asked to take part in this ladies lunch event and support such a great cause.”

Tickets £22 can be bought by contacting 07825 910943.
