A broken-down train caused disruption on the Ellesmere Port railway line this morning (Tuesday, November 29).
Merseyrail warned commuters that train services running to and from the town centre station may be cancelled or terminated and started back from Hooton.
The disruption was expected to last until 9.30am as efforts were made to move the broken-down train.
However, services returned to normal shortly before 9am.
