Totally Aktive Military Bootcamps held another of their challenges at Delamere Forest on Saturday, March 7.

This time the event was a fox and hounds theme where, after splitting the group in to two teams, they set off after a head start had been given to the foxes. The hounds quickly pursued them and soon caught up.

The teams had to make it to different checkpoints and carry out a forfeit if the were caught.

As they worked their way to the final checkpoint the whole group had to negotiate an assault course, climbing under fallen trees and camouflage nets while scrambling their way through deep mud and finally crawling out of a waist-deep water trench.

The events are free with all participants asked to make a donation to a different charity. Last week’s donations went to the childrens cancer charity Candlelighters Trust.
