PSYCHICS who claim to know the last resting place of the final undiscovered Moors Murders victim have revealed more about their plans to search for his makeshift grave.

Barnton mediums Christine Hamlett and Jackie Dennison are preparing to look for the grave of Keith Bennett, 12, murdered by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley in 1964.

They will have the backing of Keith's mother, Winnie Johnson, when they step on to the bleak Saddleworth Moors in Greater Manchester to try to locate his body.

The pair claim they have been in touch with Keith's spirit for a number of years and have received 'mental images' of the grave's whereabouts, used to draw a rough map.

Speaking about the map, which they sent anonymously to Hindley shortly before her death in 2002, Christine said: 'You have to actually know where to go and we do - when it first came into my mind all I could see was a vision, which funnily enough worked out to be the spot.

'There is a hill and a stream there, as I saw in my vision, and I could always see a grey road, and the site is near the road.

'I started with a hill and round the side there is a smaller mound and Keith is at the side of that.'

Christine says she has been in recent communication with Keith and has received new information.

'I was meditating the other night and was concentrating on Keith and the place we are going to go,' she said. 'I asked why, with all the searches done, hadn't he been found. What I got back was that he is deeper than any of the others were ever buried because there was already a natural dip there.'

Speaking about the search, Christine said she is nervous about going on the moors because of their grim history.

She said: 'I was 10 when it happened. It was on the news and I remember my mum talking to my dad about Lesley Ann Downey only being one year younger than me.

'I also remember watching TV and seeing the police searching the moors. All the kids were absolutely horrified because nothing like that had ever happened before.'

According to Christine, the area around Keith's grave will have a marking to identify it - and once there she will be employing her psychic abilities.

She said: 'I've never been able to walk through graveyards. I make myself but I have to watch where I stand because if I stand on a grave I get vibrations through my body - I'm hoping to use this ability when looking for Keith.

'I'm not over-confident and we can only go on what we are given, but we have to try at least because if you don't give it a go you never know.'

If the pair do discover something they will contact Greater Manchester Police and allow the information to be passed on to the relevant parties, including the family of Keith Bennett.
