A 13-year-old boy was arrested after an attack in Frodsham which left the victim with a stomach wound.
Cheshire Police were called to the skate park off Ship Street at about 1.20pm on Wednesday (August 3).
They found a 17-year-old victim had suffered a ‘small’ wound to the stomach.
He was taken to Aintree Hospital for treatment.
The 13-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in custody for questioning.
Officers are keen to stress this was an ‘isolated incident’ and urged anyone with concerns to speak to their local policing unit.
