RAIL services in and out of Chester have been severely disrupted this morning (Friday, June 10) after a body was found on the tracks.

British Transport Police are currently investigating the incident which is being treated as a suspected suicide.

The National Rail Enquiries website has the following message for passengers: “Emergency services are dealing with an incident near to Chester.

“Because of this, there are delays of up to 50 minutes between Llandudno Junction /Wrexham General and Chester.

“These delays are expected to last until approximately 9.15am.
