COUNCIL leader Mike Jones was the guest of honour at Tiverton’s District Garden Club’s autumn show.
The club celebrated its silver jubilee anniversary with a stunning display of flowers, pot plants, floral art, cookery and photography.
More than 250 competitors submitted entries in the various categories, transforming the village hall into a maze of colour.
Trophies were awarded for the most impressive entries, handed out by club president Bill Povall, before an auction was held with proceeds going toward club funds.
Cllr Jones also joined in with the celebrations having recently supported a grant application for the new lightweight tables used for the shows.
