Cheshire's newest WI is Blacon Butterflies which took flight earlier this month.
Cheshire WI chairman Jean Harding was delighted to sign up Blacon Butterflies at a special event full of excitement and laughter as president Sandra Hewitt, secretary Linda Worrall and treasurer Linda Griffin swung into action welcoming a roomful of new members with supper and a quiz.

Plans are under way for a lively programme of talks and activities.
Blacon Butterflies are meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm for 6.45pm at the Parade Enterprise Centre in Blacon.
The next meeting takes polace on Wednesday, May 4.
