STUDENTS from Bishops’ Blue Coat CE High School have lived the American dream.
The pupils have recently returned from a packed four-day trip where they visited The Museum of Moving Image, the 9/11 Memorial, Central Park, Roosevelt Island and The NBC Studio Tour.
They travelled around Manhattan Island by subway with a special stop at Grand Central Station which is celebrating its hundredth birthday this year.
In between visits students were encouraged to ‘avoid the chains’ and seek out some of New York’s independent eateries for their meals.
