An autistic 15-year-old boy has gone missing overnight.

Update: Cheshire Police say Connor has been found safe and well

Connor Clark, who lives in Tiverton near Tarporley, was reported missing by his family at 3.14am today (Monday, October 5) after he walked out of his home wearing only a dressing gown.

Police are increasingly concerned because of the bad weather this morning, with extensive enquiries ongoing.

They are appealing for information and urging people to check their outbuildings where Connor may have sought shelter.

Inspector Darryl Jones said: “The weather is atrocious this morning and this is giving us concern for his welfare.

“He could be out in the open fields or could be sheltering in outbuildings or sheds.

“I would urge anyone living in the Tiverton area, including farmers, to check sheds or outbuildings in case he is hiding there.

“Connor has autism and may not interact with you or if called will stay silent.”

Connor is described as looking slightly younger than his age at about 13 or 14. He is 5ft 2in to 5ft 3in tall with olive skin and a very slight build.

He was last seen wearing a black fleecy dressing gown, grey boxers and green wellington boots, but could have changed into other clothing.

Insp Jones said: “We have numerous resources committed with the search and we are appealing to anyone who has seen Connor or anyone matching his description to come forward.

“We are also urging anyone who has any information regarding his current whereabouts to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 73 of 5 October.
