MP for Eddisbury Antoinette Sandbach visited a Winsford factory to mark the completion of its multi-million pound programme of investment in new technology.

International Paper Foodservice Europe manufactures paper cups and food buckets – one of which has been developed in partnership with KFC UK and Ireland and was highly commended in the innovation category at the recent Foodservice Packaging Association awards.

Ms Sandbach toured the facility and watched as containers were formed.

'High quality products'

She congratulated International Paper Foodservice Europe on its significant investment in the factory and the local community.

It now employs people working across a number of disciplines, including administration, production, product design and development, sales and marketing.

Managing director Mike Turner said: “We are very proud of our factory here in Winsford and the high quality products we manufacture for supply to the foodservice industry in the UK and across Europe.

“I am sure I speak for the whole team when I say we are honoured to have welcomed Antoinette Sandbach MP here to see the work we are doing.”
