Cheshire Police have advised motorists today, Sunday, March 6, that an abnormal load may affect roads in Chester and Ellesmere Port.
The load set off from the A54 near Congleton at 8.15am and is looking to arrive at its destination at Liverpool docks by 1pm today.
The load is currently (10am) on the A556 at Rudheath heading westbound towards Chester.
Later this morning, the load will pass Chester Zoo on the A41 to Backford, head on the A5117 past Cheshire Oaks to the M53, junction 10, where it will head northbound to the docks.
