A crash between a car and a lorry has closed part of the A55 in Chester .
The accident took place on the A55 eastbound between the Posthouse Roundabout and Sainsbury’s roundabout for the A41 at Christleton , shortly after 1pm today (Monday, October 10).
A Vauhall Corsa and a lorry were involved in the accident.
Traffic is reported to be very slow in the area.
Cheshire Police and the North West Ambulance Service are currently at the scene.
An ambulance spokesman said the driver of the car declined treatment.
No details of any other injuries are available at the moment.
The road remains closed.
