Tailbacks are being reported on the A55 on the outskirts of Chester following an accident involving a van and four cars.
The incident happened just before 9am today (Wednesday, April 16) on the west-bound carriageway, near Eccleston, before the A483 Wrexham Road turn-off.
Cheshire Police are warning that delays are expected.
One member of the public, Phil Grimsey, posted on Facebook: “Tailbacks to past the on slip by Sainsbury's so far.”
Police spokeswoman Rachel Hayes said there appeared to be no injuries and only minor vehicle damage.
