Emergency services are at the scene of a serious multi-vehicle collision on the A49 near Malpas.
Road closures are in place on the A49 in both directions between the A534 and A41.
A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: "At around 9.30am this morning, police were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A49 involving three vehicles.
"Road closures are in place on the A49 between the A534 and the A41."
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
