The A483 Wrexham Road northbound towards Chester has been cleared.
A lane had become blocked after the collision at Belgrave near the Posthouse Roundabout at about 5.55pm on Wednesday (December 2).
Heavy traffic built up for drivers trying to reach Chester or join the A55, but this has now eased.
Emergency services did attend the scene, but no injuries have been reported.
A traffic light failure at the Posthouse Roundabout also caused major disruption on Tuesday.
