A 93-year-old woman has become the victim of a burglary after thieves forced their way into her Weaverham home.
The elderly pensioner was in when the burglars targeted her house on Fir Grove at some time between 9.20pm on Sunday (September 18) and 8am on Monday (September 19).
They made off with a TV, Hoover and cash, after it is thought they gained entry through the back window.
Officers from Northwich Local Policing Unit are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information which may help them with their enquiries to get in touch on 101 quoting incident number 141 of September 19, 2016.
