WE may be in the middle of an extremely challenging economic climate but firms across Cheshire are proving that they are a force to reckon with.
When we launched our Cheshire Business Awards a few months ago, we did so with optimism and a firm belief that companies of all types and sizes across the county would rise to the challenge.
Our optimism was rewarded when entry forms from hundreds of companies came pouring in, all eager to pick up one of our nine awards.
And our independent panel of judges faced their hardest task in the six years that the competition has been running – simply because the standard of all the entries was so high.
After many hours of discussion and debate they finally came up with a shortlist for each of the categories.
The winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony and dinner which this year is being held at the Queen Hotel in Chester on November 19.
