The University of Chester has joined forces with a small number of Japan’s largest companies to offer businesses in Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales the opportunity of hosting a high-performing junior manager for up to three days per week over a 12-week period, totally free of charge.

The manager will be assigned to undertake a specific project, of your choice, during their time with you.

This could relate to market research, a new product launch, project planning, human resources, operations or other project work.

At the same time, your team will gain a valuable insight into business culture and customs from one of the world’s most dynamic regions, together with an understanding of the inner workings of one of Japan’s leading multinationals.

This is a unique, tailored opportunity for a small number of local companies who have a suitable project.

All work visas, logistics, flights and accommodation have already been arranged.

In addition to expanding a company’s geographic horizons, this placement would build capacity for projects that might have been deferred, due to a lack of physical resource.

The Japanese managers will also be studying part-time for a postgraduate qualification at one of the region’s most innovative leaders in work-based education, the University of Chester.
